because I really do not enjoy being scared. I
once tried to walk out of a haunted house but my father made me stay. I was 23 when this happened. In fact, I did not watch any 70’s or 80’s horror films until I was in middle school.

achievements of a little film titled “Paranormal Activity.”
Freshman filmmaker Oren Peli definitely made his mark with this movie, one that will be immortalized not only for its long and turbulent path to the big screen but also ...

I am a Siamese, or conjoined twin. My
other half, separate--and certainly unequal--but seamlessly connected to my
self via an e-thereal broad band, is a drunken severed head named Max. We share that first name--I am Max Cheney, Jr., and I love the weird and macabre.

In a way, I guess I was (and
still am) trying to recapture that initial fear I
felt as a child. Read into that however you want, but to me its explanation is simple. I think we're all inherently fascinated by fear and the feeling it gives us.

horror in the 2000s, I'm devoting this week's Tuesday Top 10 to what I would consider to be the finest horror comedies of the decade now coming to a close. Let's take a ...

I don’t know if that was normal or
not. Maybe I’m really a freak or a nerd,
but I felt more fascination and interest in aliens, John Carpenter, vampires, sea monsters, Dario Argento, white sharks, the Rosswell crash UFO or tentacles finding pretty girls in adult hentai movies than trying to act ...

While it might seem that true horror fans
are unscareable, they all have their soft spot. Even
Superman has Kryptonite right? For me, movies that feature ventriloquist dummies are off my tolerable scale. Something about the eyes, and the fact that they seem like they’re alive, ...

More than one person over the years has
asked me why I like Horror. It is difficult
to explain. I was always more interested in learning about demons or the crucifixion when I went to church than hearing about the miracles.
